Muqaddimah

Alhamdulillah, hari ini Allah beri peluang untuk participate lawatan ke Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM). As the result, I felt very inspired, motivated and amazed! Di samping memperoleh banyak tips dan ilmu yang cuma mengambil masa kami sekitar dua jam. Yang pastinya, makanan yang disediakan pun sedap (Alhamdulillah)! Allahu... Only Allah knows.

Inti Lawatan Kami ke IIM

Dua jam sesi kami bersama staf-staf IIM merangkumi pengenalan mengenai IIM serta tips temuduga. Pengenalan IIM disampaikan oleh Cik Aimi Farhana, sebagai penolong pengarah bahagian koperat ceria orangnya. Manakala Tips temuduga disampaikan oleh Puan Jud, sebagai penolong pengarah bahagian sumber manusia (Human Resource, HR), seorang yang bertudung 60 inci (hebat, bukan?)

What I(we)’ve Got

Integrity as what I have noted in my notebook,
“is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching” (W. Clement Stone)

The most affected moment when Miss Aimi revealed that she has tested us on our integrity level. Before she had done that, she has shown us a nice video about passing deeds and doing the right (Subhanallah, such a beautiful video). Then, she said that she had put some rubbish at the entrance door of the room that we used, but nobody took it and threw it in a dustbin located very near to the rubbish. What was playing in my mind was how rude am I (and also my friend who told me that she had also been affected) since we were very excited to sit once we have stepped our shoe in the room.

Furthermore, in another hand, I had also thought much on what was the cause that we are not aware with the rubbish? (like as an excuse) I think that it is because the door was rightly located like a step in front of  the lif that we ride (huhu). FYI, the room  is at the 14th floor.

Interesting Thing
IIM is established as a body under Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM) but it is registered under company registration. Otherwise, all the staff who are employed in IIM ae not called as public servant eventhough the organisation follow the government regulation.

Besides that, there are differences in therm of salary, benefits, and pension such as they do not get pension instead of KWSP. In addition, the use of grade such as M41 is being differed to IIM41 (plus minus). ‘M’ and ‘IIM’, the speciality of the 73 staffs. The things that I shared to all of you may be inaccurate, so you are very suggested to visit the IIM website to get the right and accurate information.

Take the Chance, Brochures

The usage of brochures, flyers, guide books, and others are very meaningful to me when I attending any event, visit, ta’alim, etc.. During the visit to IIM, each of us got a paper bag provided by IIM that consisted of usual gifts such as notebook, pen, bookmark and two awesome books namely ‘Ringkasan Pelan Integriti Nasional’ and ‘Menghasilkan Benih Integriti Dari Akar Hingga Buahnya’.

From the title of the first book, we can expect what will be the content. It is clear by the title itself.
But, for the second book, it become mysterious and make me felt eager to know, then I checked for once lightly (sekali lalu). Oh, do you ever heard ‘ustaziatul alam’? Then, if you do, this book can be your attention. Actually, the book relates the integrity education with the natural lives. What goes same as ‘ustaziatul alam’ is it categorize the education for an individual, family, and community, then it will affect to the nation. It guide how to be integrity at individual level, then expand to the family and eventually build an integrity community.

Not An Embarrassing Moment

Is it embarrassing if you like to take all the brochures (if can) that the company provided and allow you to do so? Like usual, the brochures are being put on brochure stand that are oftenly located at the entrance door of the company building. As what being allowed, I took two of them. It was an opportunity that you cannot guarantee you can go to the institute again at other time. As what I expected those books or brochures are worthful. Both of them namely ‘Malaysia’s National Integrity Plan: A Summary’ and ‘Jalan Ke Integriti Politik’.

Eventhough the first book taken is the English Version of the book that I got before, both are still different to each other. I am not regret it! :D (heh... Alhamdulillah)

Conclusion

Visiting any institute that giving services to us is a worthful activity. By putting patient in myself, I am waiting if there is other visit to any related institute. It is fun for me, Alhamdulillah again J

Thanks to UiTM Seremban 3 for organising this visit. Jazakumullahu khairan kasira.
*I am now a UiTM Seremban 3’s student, you know?

(and no longer studying in UiTM Lendu. Kanashii deshita T_T)
